A Justice Precinct is a complex of purpose-built buildings which will be multi-jurisdiction andintegrate the federal, district and local courts in one vicinity.
It is proposed our Justice Precinct will bring together all justice and emergency services in one purpose-built, leading-edge precinct in a central location servicing the south-western region of Sydney. Emergency services will include e.g. police station and/or associated services ranging from tribunal, mediation and domestic violence. We are proposing the south-western Justice Precinct will have court rooms and facilities for the Local Court of NSW, the District Court of NSW, NCAT Tribunals and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
It is proposed that it will be led by the Ministry of Justice.
